Welcome to our website, a place for prospective parents to learn about our school and an opportunity for our parents to keep the home-school connection.

Early childhood is a crucial period in the life of our children. Research says that 90% of brain development happens the first five years. Psychologists believe that the first five years are the formative years. That’s why we, at FIS, take the responsibility of providing a nurturing environment to our early childhood students very seriously.

Our dedicated staff aspires to help the children reach their fullest potential as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and outstanding future citizens. Our environment is safe and nurturing, and each child feels special.

The curriculum objectives address the whole child, cognitively as well as socially and emotionally. Our centered-class philosophy addresses the children’s different learning styles and developmental levels. One-on-one instruction is also offered to meet the individualized learning needs of each student.

The staff consists of curriculum supervisors, behavior specialist, student counselor, highly qualified homeroom teachers and co-teachers. In addition to that, we have behavior and academic intervention and referral team members, a building manager and an office assistant. All of which are dedicated to make our program one of the best.

EL-FOUAD Early Childhood educational program paves the way for lifelong learning. It aims at producing confident, creative and informed young learners who are well prepared for the years ahead.

All our students are valued as unique individuals with different learning needs and styles that we try to accommodate. We, therefore, adopt an Eclectic philosophy to teaching where we use different methodologies and philosophies to meet the various needs of our students. In Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten, we incorporate the Montessori Practical Life Skills into our curriculum to develop students fine motor skills. From Preschool through Kindergarten, we combine the structure of the British system with the creativity of the American in our Phonological and Phonemic Awareness program, in addition to the Drama program. We also have a strong Character Education program that is incorporated in everything we do. All of our learning activities are hands on and most of the learning happens while students are playing.

A typical school day will include:

English Language Arts (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, Foundational Skills and Drama)

The Early Childhood curriculum is aligned to the Common Core State Standards which are adopted by the whole school. The standards set the academic goals for each grade level.

*Attendance Policy

FIS administration and staff believes that regular and punctual school attendance is an essential component of student academic success. Attendance records are taken daily and checked for excessive late and absences. To ensure that students understand the seriousness of regular attendance and punctuality, there is a specific attendance policy published in the “Student Handbook”

*Uniform Policy

In choosing our schools uniform we tried to combine comfort, quality and style. When You have your proper Uniform on People recognize you as a Fouadians, so wear it with pride. All pieces of the uniform can be purchased at the designated shop.*Students are expected to have their clean uniform on whenever they are engaged in any school activity Field trips, outdoors competitions).
